Pneumococcal Vaccine
Your baby may qualify for the study if:
- They are 42-89 days old
- Are healthy
- Have NOT received their 2-month old vaccines
Pneumococcal disease is caused by a type of bacteria that is a major cause of ear infections, sinus infections, and pneumonia.
Doctors are studying an investigational vaccine designed to possibly protect against pneumococcal disease in babies 42-89 days old.
